Wedding: Paul and Ali Preview
I’m sure the people who know me have heard his name quite a few time! Paul Bence is my partner in crime when it comes to all things photography, and more particularly when it comes to weddings. We’ve done our first wedding together and it was naturally a great honor for me to cover the most important day of his life! And Ali is so smiley and easy, the whole day was a bless!
The Venue now… What a place! Right by the sea, in Cornwall. a lovely Castle/Fort turned into a wedding venue… Just Amazing. And even the weather was just spot-on!
Here are a few snapshots (Mostly BW) while they prepare their honeymoon in Tanzania for a month of sun, Safari and wonderful time as a newly married couple!

More to come soon! And again, Congratulations and Love to you both Ali and Paul!!
PS: Paul is a great photographer, very talented, human and approachable. I strongly advise you to check his street portrait series. Get ready to be blown away! Also interresting, check out his blog.

As promised, here is a series from Louise and Jo’s wedding. It was a very intimate ceremony, with only close friends and family, and I am very happy they are very happy!

Wedding: Louise And Jo @The Globe Theatre – London, UK
When Deborah contacted me to tell me her friend Louise was looking for a wedding photographer who could document the most important day of their life and make sure that they could enjoy their day with no worries… I was really Pleased. I love shooting for friends and friends of friends, despite what other photographers say about the subject…
Anyway, I met Louise and Jo, and I could feel the warmth of real friendly and simple people in front of me. We had a drink, and a chat, went through the list of shots not to miss, had another drink… you know, the usual. We then went outside for a quick shoot on the river Thames, just outside the venue, and it was freeeeeeeeezing! But still, we had a laugh and all in all it was a great opportunity to get to know each other before the day.
Here, dealing with the cold:

And so the day arrived, and even if it was originally only meant to be a 2h to 3h cover, i took my second shooter of the day with me (thanks to you Ilana!) and we had a brilliant time! The family was all smile, the ceremony was really lovely (especially in this sooo nice venue) and the reception was as intimate as one could dream of!
Here are a couple of shots from both the pre-wed meeting and the wedding day! And more to come soon, as i just received the final list of the ones chosen by Louise and Jo – so stay tuned!

Romain.
